Presents waiting at home!
So with the excitement of starting a new historical product-testing blog (Delights for Ladies) and there should be a package of goodies waiting at home today from Ageless Artifice, our first line to test! Whee!
As for sewing, I finished the BBB blue sash for hsifeng and need to cut and make one for myself and finish the shortening of the shoulder straps otherwise it's going to be a little more babe than bathhouse showing. After testing the double layering in water (from the shower "Hey sweetheart - can you see through this thing?" "Um, sort of") and found that braes will be in order as well as accepting that the water will be COLD and all the fun perkiness that comes with that territory.
Had hopes of accomplishing more sewing this weekend but was wiped out by stomach bug and am now getting back to normal. Had tried last week to make a coif from an online pattern only to realize that it printed just a wee bit too small, but the good news is now I have a coif. For the cat.
Onwards to what will hopefully be a more productive week!
