Ten years, part 1
Today makes ten years to the date that I was laid off from Meritor, my first job in the automotive industry. I spent four years there, and there are things I liked about working there and things I didn't like. Had I not been laid off I would not have gotten the job I have now, which I like much better.
I feel kind of hypocritical in working for the automotive industry, considering my views on petroleum-based technology, and the coming crash of our society. Still, gotta pay the bills and buy groceries, right?
