Hokay, so. We've been trying to figure out what to do with Buried and Reset for a while now. And while it won't matter what we decide for a while yet, I just had a little brainwave that might help us figure something out.
Okay, so they finally unearth Warehouse 2 after a couple millennia of it sitting there doing nothing. I can't see the Regents wanting to let that sit around/fill up with sand/whatever after they know where it is; they'd want to get all those Artifacts re-rounded up and back into proper custody.
I think we can safely skip the betrayal bit (unless we want to pass that off as Artifact-induced bugnuts), though I do think most of Buried is worth playing with. And then we can fill in Reset with 're-bagging and tagging Warehouse 2.' As noted, there's room for Artifact-induced bugnuts or illness in there, depending on how we want to play things, and we can make it a little less DO NOT WANT from there.
There's even some wiggle room in here for Myka not being around as much, if we want to go that route (say HG's affected and needs some recovery time, and Myka offers to help with that), and the show's determination to bring in a New Guy for S3 (if HG sticks around, she'll need a partner).
I'm not calling it a perfect plan by any means, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Thoughts/opinions?
