HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
The past week or so has been very interesting. As you all know, I went to Houston for Spring Break. I had a good time! Me and my sister got a lot closer and I miss her a lot now! I miss my mommy, too! Boo Hoo! It sucks though because the whole time I was there I missed Gilbert and I was miserable without him! So, Sunday I was glad to get back! Daisy picked me up from the airport and I was really glad to see her because I missed her a lot. Then, I came home for like 2 minutes to get some clothes for church and then we went. After that she took me over to my cousins house for a little while and I chilled there for a little while and then Daisy picked me up again. Then, we went to Gilbert's house and when I got there he gave me a rose and these 2 little, white, fluffy bunnies, and then Daisy, me, Gilbert, and Robert all got in the car and Daisy just started driving. We ended up at Capetto's, some really fancy restaurant and we ate. But, Gilbert did the cutest, sweetest, most fantastic thing! Earlier that weekend he got me a cake from Basking Robin's, because I had told him that I liked their ice cream cakes, and he had made reservations at the restaurant and taken the cake there already. The cake was supposed to be a surprise but the waitress kind of ruined it because she was like, "Who's birthday is it?" and they were telling her that it was no ones birthday, and then she was like, "Well someone brought in a cake" and they were just giving her these faces and then she felt bad because she realized she had ruined the surprise. So, after we were done eating she brought out the cake and it was so cute. It was all blue and then it had this white candy icing that looked like a bow, so the whole cake looked like a present, but the waitress stil didn't realize that it wasn't my birthday so everyone just played along like it was and they joined along with some of the people whoe worked there to sing "Happy Birthday" and everyone in the restaurant was looking at me and it was totally embarrassing! Wait... but there's more! Daisy kept telling me to cut the cake so I said okay and then as I was cutting it down the middle there was something hard and I kept telling them but they just said to keep going and so I did. Then I was passing out the pieces of cake and I see this little box in the middle of the cake and I was like, "What is that?" and Gilbert told me to take it out, so I made this huge mess trying to take it out and when I finally did I opened the box and there was this beautiful silver, diamond ring inside of it. I was so surprised. It looks like an engagement ring! Well, it's a promise ring he says and there's another part to it and he said that he'll give it to me in the future as we get more serious! So, we're officially going out now, and I couldn't be happier! So, that's my story, LOL!
