still screwed. online right now trying to learn about compression and drawing head gaskets. looks pretty easy. i'm being told to use gasket paper than being told on another site to use metal. which one?!

mbartell has come through and now mattyc9 will attempt to get the forks on. cross yer fingers folks...the bike hasn't been fired since the accident so, hopefully, will run and run well (thanks mike and matt...i'll buy you a drink).

if all else fails rustybrett has come through with a loaner moped (thanks brett, i'll buy you a drink tonight).
can of wired x-294 is on my desk and is almost empty. there's sunscreen and tools in my bag and i'm ready to go. see you guys in a bit....
