Prompt: "It's summertime and I'm craving for some kind of summer-feeling open-air festival kind of story. With Arthur as the singer of a band and Merlin as a grudgingly dragged along festival goer. He's not really into the whole dirty/sweaty/drunk/stoned-atmosphere going on around him and by trying to get some air, he wanders away from the festival and finds a quiet spot somewhere in the woods by a quiet river/pond. He decides to take a bath and relax for a bit. But then Arthur shows up, apparently having the same idea. Not only that, he seems to show some interest in Merlin, who really just wants his peace and quiet and doesn't treat Arthur like a God just because he's the singer of a famous band." [truncated]
This is adorable and funny and so tightly-written. It's so light-hearted and sexy and just all the good things ♥♥♥ I love the characterization, both Merlin and Arthur are endearing and silly. And a surprising amount of nakedness for PG-13 rating. ;P You'll just have to read and see!

Thanks to a friend who recced this to me. This is an interesting premise which deals with A/B/O (and more) in a meta way, and deals with the sexuality and gender politics ala real-world dynamics, with an academia setting. (Kind of like skellerbvvt's Them Gods Gonna Hurt You, Son.) Very fascinating and kind of painful in a retrospective way, dealing with questions of choice versus what society has decided for them (us?). It's a bit rough (minor editing errors) but the world-building is pretty amazing. Especially the second chapter, once things get really started, omfgggggg PLEASE LET IT BE UPDATED SOON. So good. *_*
