From 1997-2003, I was the Design Supervisor for a Tier 1 Supplier to the automotive industry. That Tier 1 supplier just happens to be the number one engine valvetrain parts supplier IN THE WORLD. There isn't an automotive company out there that doesn't have this company's technology somewhere in their vehicles.
I saw first-hand the fuel economy saving designs the Big 3 were putting into their engines. I helped design them.
It doesn't matter who I work for now.
I know what's out there on the road, and I know that what's coming is even better.
Detroit's products are NOT the "dinosaurs" outsiders want us to believe.
And don't get me started on the government who GAVE the Japanese automakers money so they would build "gas guzzling" pickups here in the United States (to create jobs, of course.)
