OMG! Never thought I'd hear this on the radio...
Hanging out at school today... I walked down a hall and I passed by a speaker, and one of my favorite songs of all time was playing on the college radio station...
I first heard this song as a Cradle of Filth cover, which I also love...
The original is from 1992 by Shakespeare's Sister, an all-girl group from the UK, where it topped the charts for several weeks. The Cradle of Filth version was from their album "Thornography", which, if you haven't heard it yet, is TOTALLY based on Daylight Fades, Arise The Night (Dorian's book). They even released it on his birthday!
I would sing this song to my son Caleb when he was in the hospital, and Dorian and I are planning on covering the Cradle of Filth cover :P
