We almost made it....
...home without denting or scratching the van. Then I decided I wanted to get it washed before we drive it home to Tempe tomorrow. So I'm at the little gas station car wash, pulling around the corner to the entrance and there are these two little concrete pillars on either side of the path and I'm creeping around 'cuz it's kinda narrow and....*THUNK* yup,hit the one i couldn't see on the passenger side. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!! I've never hit ANYTHING with a car. never gotten a traffic ticket. Nothing. So i back up, hop out and run around to the passenger side of the van and there's a huge dent, right below the handle of the sliding door.....and the door won't open. I hit the unlock button a few more times, then climbed in the fornt passenger seat to try and manually unlock it...nothin'. It's stuck locked and closed so now we're going to have to crawl over the front passenger seat to get into the back. sunofabitch. :-( At least it seems that all the childsplay vans have several dents and scratches and whatnot on them. doesn't really make me feel any better it though. :-(
