I had my interview for the Fulbright Scholarship (for Columbia University) this morning. This interview was actually the only reason I came back home from Mexico, so I went to the interview with an extremely positive attitude - I didn't come back for nothing right???
The interview was only 15 minutes, with a commission of 6 people. So, there I went... and I totally did it =)
I'm not sure if I got the scholarship yet (minimum of $12500) because they'll only notify me in about 3 weeks, but I know that I did really good. I had their undivided attention, they were amused and interested and asked good questions and I had an answer to everything. I wasn't nervous at all, I was very calmly radiating my self-confidence =) haha!
I was on such a high afterwards that I went shopping (the interview was in Amsterdam and I know all little stores -and bigger ones- there that they don't have where I live) and i bought some cool things hehe. So yeah, I'm all happy happy now!
In the meantime I'm still trying to survive my jetlag, lol, i SO couldn't sleep last night but I did have to get up early (*sigh*).
Anyhow - I did the interview.. and my college applications are being considered at this very moment.. so now all we can do is wait, but I have the feeling that it'll all be allright =)
I had the idea of putting up a Song of the Week for you to download. Sometimes there's a song that dominates my week and I thought it'd be cool to share with you after my "compile your own GA soundtrack" thingy which was a big success =)
This week's song is by Portishead and it's from the Great Expectations soundtrack.
