aaaand i´m in Mexico! yay!
Finally, after a 23 hour trip =) There was like this whole team welcoming me and applauding as i left the car, it was sooo sweet! and it´s all girls my age practically, so it´s a lot of fun, I´m happily chatting away with everyone the entire time. Really helps that I speak Spanish of course, and also that I have blue eyes and blonde hair because, seriously, not kidding, the guys do everything for me. It´s almost like I snap my fingers and i´ll have what I want, haha =) suuuuuch a wonderful power to abuse =) We´re staying in this highly secured Olympic Village with the entire Youth World Water Forum which consists of 100 youth, and the Children´s Water Forum, and the Women´s Water Forum and god knows who else =) we´re getting 3 meals a day and the food is good so far. Breakfast with those cute flat wheat pancakes with beanstuff and such. And other funny Mexican stuff. What´s also funny is that there´s still athletes training in the meantime. And it´s very warm and sunny! so cool =) We´re unfortunately not really allowed to leave this Olympic Village due to security reasons (because Mexico city is a Big & Bad city.. really dangerous.. especially for people who´re inexperienced travellers. We can leave, but only in a group and after we sign a statement that we´re responsible for our own actions. And me, with my blonde hair and blue eyes am an easy victim so i´m definitely not going out on my own. Anyhow, tomorrow the Forum really starts, so well.. we´ll see =) so far it´s all good, no scary stories, lots of cool people.. and the sun is great, it´s 26 degrees Celsius while I came from around 2 degrees with even -7 at night. So now i´m sitting here in flipflops with a tanktop haha! amazing. Okay, that´s my short update for now =) talk to you all soon! *hugs*
