Drama, they are meant to be kind of tounge in cheek. That was always my problem with Buffy and even Firefly. Not enough emotion and not enough real people. Real people are messy and they shag and screw up and they snot all over the place when they cry. And there are workd place romances! And relationships last! I just finally felt vindicated tha tthe thigs I want from tv are not out of reach.
The violence of Countrycide was so unexpected and really hit me! Me! The ultravillence girl! And then, Combat, with just a few lines they made me feel for the weevil, made me want it to be saved. And don't get me started on Captain Jack Harkness, cause I nearly cried. Okay, I admit, I did cry. I just wanted to lock the two Jacks into some army baracs for some personal time. All was good except the giant love child of a goat and a pig destrying the city, but then again, maybe that's fitting for Cardif.
And ooohhh the ending, Jack's doctor is the number 9, right? mmmmmmmm Christopher, he is quite yummy. Integalactic booty call!
