I read this post when you first posted it, and was like, yeah looks like a cute playset. I looked back at your LJ today and saw comments. I thought, "Surely someone else is really enthused at the adorability of those... dolphins? Whatever, they're plush and awesome."
Genuine lols at the randomness of the "interruption" above. I'm glad you were there for him too.
Nah, nobody comments on my blog aside from maybe you and a couple of other people. I'm not even sure anyone reads it. But then again, I kind of like it when art imitates life.
Re: The Finnegans. I haven't spent much time with them (yet - I don't want to destroy their world), but I'm under the impression that they are a family (school?) of vicious, yet fuzzy and fun-loving sharks. I failed to mention that all Furryville playsets come with a storybook and poster, which I have not read.
My favorite Finnegan is the one up in the crow's nest. In real life, he would be dead.
I like the one who's lounging on a deck chair while the others have actual responsibilities. All in all, very awesome playset. I'm psyched to hear about their storybook adventures.
or no, my bad! He fell in and the rowboat Finnegan with the shades and hat has saved him (saved a shark from drowning?) and is pulling him along on a raft. Okay, now I'm very curious about the story for these guys.
Finnegans story TK Maybe I'll share it when I get home from bowling tomorrow night. I guarantee that I will be drunk, though.
Relatedly, I just discovered today that my favorite Finnegan--who appears to be nude--is actually wearing the tiniest of red-and-white striped speedos. I shall name him "Tiziano Scarpetto." I guess his last name can still be Finnegan.
