(when you're watching a tv show and in the show something either 'celebrity' or 'high fashion' is supposed to happen--like, say, a character goes to a 'fancy party'--and there are sound effects of cameras snapping LIKE THIS)

i was flipping channels earlier and stopped for a minute on E! -- dunno what show, but there was a fucking glaringly huge boom mic RIGHT IN THE SHOT and you could tell it wasn't SUPPOSED TO BE. it's like goddamn, motherfuckers don't even try anymore.
