I'M NOT DEAD YET ~_~
Wowzers, has it really been that long? I feel so embarrassed for being away from LJ like this, seeing as this was my first ever blog thingy. For the curious, my absence was brought about by work stress at my job (now ex-job; got laid off in November for fumbling my 3rd-month evaluation; presently I'm in training for another company). I guess that's one other reason - the shame of losing my first employment after only three short months; I just didn't have the nerve to break it here. Hopefully I've learned my lesson and will not "repeat history" a la Endless Waltz with my current employers (same line of work, if you're wondering).
The next factor in my hiatus makes me shake my head at it even now, long after I took the plunge a month or so ago.....

Okay, I'm mostly there for the game apps, but it had the pleasant/uncomfortable side-effect of reuniting me with a whole bunch of old friends and acquaintances - ALL THE WAY BACK FROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. What's more, they all remembered me (maybe more on the negative parts; still, the friend request flood from my fellow batch-mates of NDU-ETD '95 was damned scary at first). Rather awkward since I'm sure most of these guys are stabled and well-settled with their lives now (hell, some of them live OUTSIDE the Philippines now IIRC); compared to them, I haven't actually done much in my life yet. The future is still uncertain. Best get to changing that, eh? After all, the New Year's around the corner. How appropriate! Wish me luck with a new job in 2010.

Okay, the last reason I went active here again? Reading my Friendlist entries and seeing the ones about some $10 LJ coupon to give to friends without Paid Accounts. And how some of my Friends did not hesitate to ask around their own Friendlists for them, especially if they have LENGTHY FLs, which I really don't. *HINT HINT*
*looks up at last paragraph*
*sigh* I'm pathetic, ain't I? Oh well. Here's to seeing you all more often next year. New Year's Resolution? Maybe. Ciao.
