baggage allowances

I just threw an approximation of my wardrobe into my smaller suitcase and it already weighs a third of my baggage allowance.

sigh! how am I to fit the accoutrements of my life into 57kg[1]?

only 30 kg? don't you get 30kg per piece of check-in luggage, not in total? and no, it is not possible to fit them into 57kg. NOT POSSIBLE.

this is to the US - to the UK, baggage allowance is 30kg per person.

and I've done it, I'm packed within the weight limit and couriering an additional 16kg. :p

You could try mailing yourself some of your stuff. Then again, that might be more expensive than paying the overweight costs...

I am, and it's much cheaper than the excess baggage penalties! thank goodness for that.
