snowblower
It's our first time using the
rmd got last year. Not bad!
It's about as powerful as we could have and still make it through the narrow path of (width of driveway) - (width of vehicle). The external outlets at the front and back of the house are both sufficient to power it, so the two extension cords give us all the range we actually need.
It probably only wants to handle about 8 inches of snow at a time. But being electric, it's light enough to just lift on top of deeper snow and mow back and forth as it works its way down.
Still a lot of work (she's still out--I'm inside the door letting my toes thaw)--but heaps faster than shoveling.
