Friends Rule, Relatives Suck(well one of them in particular...)

Varma is really getting on my last nerve, with his whole 'waste my time helping him build his stupid website' thing...Grrr...but anyway I had a FANTASTIC night out with friends tonight. I went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's with Sarvesh, Debbie, Reshma, Roger and CARA! I bolded her name because she was the highlight of the evening! I mean, we're basically just acquaintances, since she's a friend of my friends, but my goodness, I had no idea how funny she was. She was a RIOT! She had me cracking up the entire evening. At the restaurant, in the car. The girl should be a comedian! She's officially the coolest chick ever in my book! Anyway, the dinner on the whole was wonderful, and I had a yummy veggie burger with fries that was very filling! It was just such a nice, relaxing evening. A cool change of pace for me, haha. But yeah, Cara was the highlight! LOL!

And yesterday, I spent the afternoon at the mall, since I had a bunch of errands to run, and I ended up running into Reshma and Roger. And they convinced me to go see Rogue Assassion with them. Which I wouldn't have on my own, because those action type movies aren't usually my cup of tea, but they practically dragged me,lol. And I ended up being pleasantly surprised at how good the moive actually was. I thought I would have actually hated it, but it was pretty good. Not great, just good. Definitely not the worst movie I've seen all year. So yeah, that was fun as well. But the best part about being at the mall yesterday, was that I finally got issue 5 of the Buffy season 8 comic series at Nigel R. Khan Booksellers! I've been checking the bookstore for awhile, hoping that it'd be there each time, because about a month ago, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they had issue 4(but I had already bought that issue when I was in NY), so I was hoping against hope that when issue 5 came out they would have it as well. It may have been a month late, but they finally got it! It was the first thing I noticed when I walked in the store, and I was so happy, that I couldn't help but gush to the employees I talk to most times when I go there. I may have overgushed though, because I got some strange looks from the employees I don't usually speak to, but I didn't care, I got my Buffy! HAHA! Anyway, at the other bookstore, RIK, I bought the novel Wicked, which the Broadway musical is based on. I heard the book is very different than the musical though, but still a good read. So eventually I'll get around to reading it,lol. I also bought Disturbia on DVD, since everyone I know who's seen it loved it. And I wanted to see it as well, so I thought why not buy it as well? So yeah, I got some really good stuff yesterday at the mall, and saw a good movie with some cool peeps, so it was all good. Hopefully tomorrow won't revert back to dullsville. I've got some major laundry issues to take care of, though. *groans*. So gotta getting around to washing some clothes before I have no cleans to actually wear, lol! Contemplating on whether to do them tonight or tomorrow. It's already the dead of night already, but when has that stopped me from doing laundry? lol. But I guess I'm plain old lazy, haha. But anyway, I need to get my laundry done for sure, surely sure before the weekend's done! So that and helping Varma with his lame ass site seems to be on the horizon for tomorrow. So I guess the fun train ended tonight unfortunately. Blah. Hopefully not. There's a chance I might be hanging with Cara and Reshma tomorrow! *fingers crossed*
