Tattoo!

I have finally decided what I'm going to get a tattoo of.  It's my favorite line from an ee cummings poem:

"i like my body when it is with
your body. It is so quite new a thing."

I'm going to get it tattooed vertically along my ribcage right under my left armpit (so you could theoretically read it if I was lying on my back).  I am so excited.  And

I love all of mine. Just make sure to drink a lot of water and do not drink alcohol the night before. I hear rib cage stings a little but they said that about feet tattoos too and mine didn't really hurt at all. So I say haha. YAY for your new ink :D

Interesting- why all the water and no alcohol the night before? Can I drink a little right before I get it done? haha I was thinking that might make it easier...

I'm glad to hear that yours didn't really hurt! I'm a big wimp, and I'm SO scared, but I'm REALLY excited!!!

Water to keep your skin hydrated and no alcohol as it's a blood thinner and you bleed when they tattoo you and that would make it bleed more and more-quickly. Same with things like tylenol, etc. When you book your appointment, they'll give you the whole sccop lady and what soap/lotion/etc. to buy for after. :D
