"They've outlawed war!" Outlawed war? OUTLAWED war? Outlawed WAR? HOW DO YOU EVEN OUTLAW WAR? I have no idea, but if anyone can outlaw war, it's the Dulcians.
Casting tidbit of the day: the actor playing Cully returned in The Eleventh Hour, as the owner of the car where Amy locks Eleven's tie (or should that be Ten's?). I like to think that is Cully, rather than a different character, and that the Doctor at some point returned to Dulkis, picked him up, allowed him to experience some adventures rather than die of boredom in his home planet, and then dropped him on Earth.
I love how Zoe calls out the dresses for being "impractical." The way she was written in the Mind Robber novelization seemed to suggest that, at this point, Zoe was not in the habit of wearing skirts and very much preferred practical trousers and jumpsuits and catsuits, and that it was only after she met her girlfriend Isobel in The Invasion that she began to wear those teeny tiny skirts she's famous for.
Also hey are those Jelly Babies. That bag looks like Jelly
( ... )
That was one of my friend's favorite scenes from The Eleventh Hour. I just went back and re-watched it and I noted the little glance he throws at the Doctor before walking off. Based on your headcanon, I wonder if he knew...
Two had Jelly Babies in The Three Doctors, but that's the only other time I remember him having them. I seem to remember reading or hearing from somewhere that that was the very first offering of a Jelly Baby in the whole show.
How do you outlaw war?

The same way Canute "outlawed" the tide.
"So I only just realized: FINALLY we have men (other than Jamie) wearing skirts above the knee!"
*snerk* Hannah, Hannah, Hannah....
I recall Sylv talking in an interview about how much it sucked for any monster actor to do their job. And how they were the unsung heroes of Doctor Who.
I'm not fond of new series reboots, but if anyone could use one, the Dominators are it.
"They've outlawed war!" Outlawed war? OUTLAWED war? Outlawed WAR? HOW DO YOU EVEN OUTLAW WAR? Is it bad that when I read this I thought of the Kellogg-Briand Pact? Not that that's actually applicable (and it rather proves your point, anyway), but it was still my first thought.
