So guys. 30 Days of Who. I want to join this bandwagon. Should I post my responses here, or should I do it on my personal journal (princesshannah4) and keep this space to just the Twitter blogging?
Well, I have polled and you have spoken. I've decided that I'm going to start doing these every Sunday, so I'll know what my coming week will be like and I can alert you guys to any delays (which will probably happen more once school starts again). I'm doing this one early because I just happen to have another hiatus coming up. This one will be brief, just for the weekend, as I'll be out in Ohio for my grandpa's and cousin's birthdays (the former of which is going to be a huge epic family reunion, so yeah...) and it is very likely that I shall be without internets. When I return, my schedule will be a bit fuller. I'm starting an astronomy class 4 days a week because this fandom has managed to seep into my academics in addition to a once-a-week fiction writing class and a twice-a-week drawing class. Because that's what you do when you can't find a summer job: you get more learnings.
In other Who-news, I now have an account on the Big Finish website and took advantage of their recent Big Finish Day to nab the first dozen or so of the Eight/Charley audios (Storm Warning through Zagreus, plus Scherzo which omfgitsjo so kindly sent to me personally) for a good solid price. I started listening to Storm Warning today, but I'm not far enough in to give a good reaction just yet. I also got to listen to The Marian Conspiracy because I was all "EVELYN'S INTRODUCTORY STORY I'VE HEARD SO MANY GREAT THINGS ABOUT HER I MUST HEAR THIS" and I can already understand why so many people say that the Sixth Doctor audios were made of so much win.
Also, I apologize for my Warriors' Gate commentary being a tad thin. I wound up watching it on the TV instead of on my laptop and my mom came in and wound up watching most of it with me (she's a New Who lover, but she watched Four and Five on PBS sporadically back in the day), so I felt a little pressured to not pause every 2 minutes to replay the last line of dialogue five times or figure out how best to word my excitement for things HOLY SHIT ADRIC HAS A GIANT SHIP CANNON and such.
Upcoming Commentaries
I've updated the Time Archive of Rassilon to include serials to fill in smaller gaps in the Four-to-Five area between things I've seen and things I've had as plan-to-see-soon for a while, so stories like Meglos, Snakedance, and everything between E-Space and The Visitation have been bumped up a little in priority. My OCD demands it. In the coming week, you can probably expect to see commentaries for The Dalek Invasion of Earth and The Two Doctors. Maybe The Rescue will sneak in there too.
EDIT: I've decided that since the Archive is sorely lacking in Two and due to flight complications, I'm going to do one of his tonight. Also, it'll ever-so-slightly lessen the tension of having an epic block of reconstructions to slog through when I get up to him in my Watch From the Beginning. I'm still deciding between The Moonbase and The Macra Terror.
