hello all! I'm not really that excited, I'm just trying to be optimistic that today will be better than yesterday. I got up late yesterday and had to go get gas before heading to class. Later I was writing my latin assignment into my little book and noticed that it said "5-10 DS" (meaning I was supposed to work Dairy Store) but it wasn't in my little pocket calendar. This upset me a little b/c I had thought that I had the day off and was really looking forward to relaxing for the evening. So on my way home I stopped by to check and sure enough 5-10. So I went home and moped for an hour before heading back down to my personal hell. I pleaded with Stef to let me off early if she could since I had to open Gift shop at 7 (yeah, me...not a morning person). Thankfully she did let me off at 8:45. I went home, ate some left over pizza and went to bed. I was asleep before 11, wouldn't have happened if I'd had to stay til 10.
On a good note, I got my Classics 150 paper back and I got a 93. She said the writing for the class overall was really bad so instead of having a second paper due she's having us revise the first one and turn it back in again. People with A's (me!) have the option of not revising, in which case the grade would carry over. The worst thing about mine is that I have an incomplete sentence and some missing commas.
I have decided to change my hair color, to red. It'll be a coppery red. I've been thinking about doing so for a while and one day a week or so ago I was talking to Joe and he said "you should dye your hair red" I laughed and told him I'd been thinking about it. He doesn't know that I'm definately going to do it. I made an appointment with the lady who's been doing my hair for forever to have it dyed and trimmed. I don't want to do it myself cuz I wouldn't be able to get the shade I want, and I would find a way to mess it up. The appointment is Thursday and our anniversary is sunday. It'll be a nice surprise.
Does anybody have any good ideas for something to do on an anniversary. We've been together for 6 years (dating, not married...and yes I know...that's a long time to be dating). We're definately going to spend the day together but we have no idea how to celebrate. Anything relatively inexpensive in the Dayton or Columbus area's is good. I thought about this exhibit at the Dayton Art Museum about Egypt, but decided I didn't want to spend my anniversary there.
Okay, gotta go. Catch ya later
