I am officially TEFL certified, biotches!
Hellz yeah. No more getting up at 7:00 in the morning on the weekends, only to spend 7 hours in a hot stuffy room with no windows and no legroom, learning about how to teach English grammar. Today was my last day, I did my practicum (which rocked the earth, by the way) and I got my diploma which is all awesome and shit--except they spelled my mother's last name wrong. Whatevs, not a huge deal. I bought myself a celebratory milkshake at the ice cream shop at the end of Lakeshore (those of you who know the area know which one I'm talking about, you know the one with the bear painted inside? I think it's called Yogurt Deluxe, but the truth is nobody really cares about the name. It's just The Ice Cream Place With The Bear), which was delicious as hell.
Now I'm relaxing at home listening to Carmen Miranda be ridiculous, and relishing the fact that I don't have to go to that godforsaken class anymore. And also looking forward to going to see Mamma Mia for the THIRD TIME TONIGHT. This time I'm bringing my mother. That woman needs some serious fabulousness right about now.
