titanic has stolen my tv screen, again.
so christmas was extremely generous for me.
i had originally asked for boots, but then, my parents did me one better with a lap top instead. i was shocked, to say the least, considering that the issue of a new computer was disclosed to me as "we will buy you one for college." and that seemed perfectly reasonable.
i named him albert. he is sleek and black and im quite proud to call him my own. now i can surf the many pages of myspace and livejournal with swift ease.
in the meantime, i have an interview tomorrow for hostessing at bonefish grill. its my second, and hopefully hiring is in my future. its not much in the way of skill, so i shouldn't be too awful at it.
my year at a glance: a vast change in the way of comfortable surroundings. and a delayed wake up call. rough, but inspiring. january has always been good to me, and with any hope, the approaching will be no different.
