im a daisy!
ok so this may be a longie.
my vermont weekend was awesome. castleton was amazing. the campus was a lot like bridgewater's except theres hiking and running trails in the back. ahh, so awesome. i spent two hours with a spanish professor and a group of her students and she had a conversation with me to see where i'd place in the spanish program, yea intermediate. all of her students were sooo awesome and soo nice and it seems like the spanish prgram is a really tight nit community there and thats exactly what i need. i think im going to double major in cultural anthropology and spanish for business. when you take spanish for business you get tuition assistance from the state which means im that much closer to my mini! sweet!
while i was at castleton i started talking with the "spanish" kids about uvm. they told me that in lecture classes there they take attendance with barcodes and that all they do is party there. and mengo informed me about the festivities on april 20th so..yea.
anywho, on sunday i went to uvm. me and my mom got really confused bc there were no signs, little did we know we had to go to a hotel down the street. crazy stoners. so we did the whole open house thing and i kinda just decided that uvm isn't quite for me. its a bit too big. too many kids. and its in the middle of a little city so i didn't even feel like i was really in vermont, if that makes sense.
burlington was really nice though, definately a place i would like to visit a lot. and castleton is at the top of my list now. yay.
in other news, im going to nicaragua!!! oh geez im so excited its kinda rediculous. im in the midst starting lots of fundraising projects and such and ahh its going to be so amazing.
yea i need to work on essays. ick.
