What the fuck is up with this city?! i arrive home today, went to kristen's for a while, then joey picked me up. we went to return a movie at Blockbuster and there are 5 cop cars at Wing Zone. that's like, the whole force for this area so it must have been something. Then we went out to one eyed jack's for tom's benefit (bittersweet in and of itself) and we come home to 4 NOPD cars on Melodia court. we have 6 houses on this street, all owned by 3 people, is it that hard to keep shit under control?! i guess so. the house in question is definitely still vacant (3 younger kids bought it and have been fixing it up themselves) so i'm not sure why several people who are definitely not the homeowners were being dragged out in cuffs at 1am.
And, of course, no info or even a glance from the cops as i sat out there and waited to see what was going on. as if it's none of my fucking business. i understand rights of the accused but if there's trespassing going on across the street i have a right to knoe. oh yeah and 3 murders elsewhere in the city tonight. what are we doing to ourselves?
