Beneath the sea
They walked unto the darkness
Two lovers paths cross
Fear gripping their untouchable hearts
Both learn to speak without words
They sense with their hearts
And both are loud enough to hear
There they lie underneath the ocean
Sleeping blissfully awake
Until polluted glances and words disturb
Until then they sleep eyes too tired and weary
Years has passed seeking their love
Finally one reaches it and holds on
Until human voices awake them
Until their words slur and close the door
Until their love withers and dies forevermore
Depletion
She wakes and sees him differently
Not as who he once was, less magnificent
And leaves him sleeping, sensing off beam
He wakes and she is not there
Looking beyond the depths, nothing
He cries his plea cries his heart out, silence
She hears the wail of her lover
But is untouched it is no longer there
It suddenly stops for a time, and years pass
They meet again no words exchange
Still their hearts sense each others thoughts
But its no longer there
No longer is their heart on fire
No longer does their bodies need each others caress
Until then they are awake until they sleep once more
