weekend update featuring: failed resistance, ray chalres, and the pixies
>friday it was so incredible to see failed resistance on stage at the fucking metro. i took pictures and danced all night and it was just so fantastic to see all those boys up on stage. i love them! marty got up too for a little while, sounded great. that show was seriously made just for failed and everyone we hang out w/ in minooka and the city. almost ALL of my friends were at that show. it was like our own little party in the metro. fucking fantastic.
>went to the failed house after the show....broke things, tore shit up. i got so drunk. i kept on talking about how i was going to burn down the house because "if we cant have it, NO ONE CAN!" everyone was there. everyone had fun. cops came, and since we were technically tresspassing, we all scattered. mike and i got in his car and he sober drove to the NEW FR house in wicker park.
>woke up in mikes arms on a makeshift bed on the floor and a hangover. spent all saturday watching toumbstone and playing video games. pizza and thrift shops. saturday night i went to see the movie ray w/ my dad...it was damn good. then went downtown with my ex boyfriend, tom, and friend from HS, chris to dinner. fun fun.
>SUNDAY NIGHT I SAW THE PIXIES WITH WILL!!!!!!!!!!! my feet were seriously swolen from dancing to the pixies so much. I LOVE HOW WILL AND I MOVE TOGETHER! seriously we just dance so well together its incredible. I LOVE THE PIXIES! they were amazing amazing amazing. played a bunch of b-sides which was nice. it was great. they came out with gigantic for their encore... it was just for me. "will, they cant go, they cant leave yet, they haven't played gigantic for me!" and then they come out..." and this i know...his teeth as white as snow" it was perfect.
