Yep, Kylie Minogue has been confirmed in coming to perform at both concerts of Sound Relief. So, the list of people I will get to see that I would otherwise never get to see continues to increase. Not a fan of Kylie myself - I'm a child of the 80s so I remember "Young Talent Time" and Dannii, so I'm more a Dannii fan. Not a huge fan, but still ( Read more... )

Oo, nice! I think Kylie is one of those artists you normally have to pay exorbitant amounts for to see live, so this is definitely a great opportunity ;). Not a big fan myself, but I hear her shows are excellent.

An earthquake, really? I've been known to sleep through them, hehe, but it's been at least ten years since the last one we had, thankfully.

I would have loved to have gone, but I have to work the night shift. For some reason patients can't look after themselves.

We felt the earthquake at work - I'm up on the 4th floor. I remember watching a documentary once on how animals can predict things like earthquakes, and was actually looking forward to our next quake back home in NZ. When it did arrive, our cat didn't show any signs before or during - I was most put out.

Sounds to me like your cat is broken. Mine most definitely did sense it, but yours is busted. Might need to take it in for a service. ;)
