Second Last Day of Working Year
Well, I'm sitting here in my office sorting through my filing cabinet, sorting all my crap into manageable folders as I wait to be able to move offices. It seems to be a ritual here, apparently. Every year they shuffle where people sit, and this year they've decided that next year my office will be no more. Three of the guys have already moved off to their new offices, and two are like me and waiting for the existing person to move off their desk so that we can move in. I'm still with one of the guys, so I'm not complaining too much, and I'm going into a larger staffroom where there are more people. And a fridge. And a microwave.
Anyway, better get back to it. Have to ring the VIT on Friday and make sure my forms showed up for my full registration. Tomorrow is really just a staff breakup and we knock off at 2pm, so it'll be an early day. On Saturday Pugs' family is having a get together and I'm going with them, so that day is another busy one. Poor Pugs has to work all through Christmas (save Christmas day) so I'm feeling sorry for him.
Anyway, this is going to be the first year since I was in my Undergraduate course at uni that I've known where I will be next year and can take a proper holiday because I'm not rushing around. Stalker of Shadows has said she's coming to visit for a week, so I'm looking forward to that.
Now, I better get back to this filing cabinet. Still got a lot of files to sort out...
