Home Front
Little bit of excitement going on at the Ballarat home front. I'm not there at the moment, but I've been receiving updates. Firstly, one of your guinea pigs got out and was killed by our dog. No idea how it got out, but it was the youngest piggy and the son of my piggy (dec.) and my sister's piggy. He was a beautiful, too. Full black, crest, with a little patch of tan that my Mum always says was where 'the paint come off' when we picked him up for the first time when he was a baby.
The next bit of excitement comes in the form of something bad. There was a car accident pretty much directly in front of our house. We know the driver, too. Anyway, not sure what caused it, but the car hit a tree and was pretty much sliced right up the middle (makes me think speed was involved). Driver escaped with cuts to his legs and some head injuries, but still. It was only a matter of time before there was an accident with the way people hoon up that street, but directly in front of the house? My Mum sent me pictures. Still working out how to use my new phone, otherwise I'd upload them. Something tells me that the accident might be in tomorrows news, so if I find pictures I'll link them.
