ok, so let's say you're a poor graduate student. And you need someone to watch your adorable dog for two weeks while you're hanging w/ the fam for the holidays. You could kennel him with your vet, which both you and he hate, and which would run you about $175 for the duration. But you and the dog both don't really like this option, b/c a kennel

How utterly ridiculous. I'd settle the bill over the phone with the kennel so she can't claim she owes you for that. If she's already paid, I'm not sure what to do. She shouldn't have agreed to do it in the first place, guess she just wanted to make some easy money...or so she thought.
