I want.

I haven't purchased a new bag in, literally, years. I bought a small casual one a few years back (2?) at the Gap outlet in Freeport. Before that, it's literally been since my senior year of college. So like 5 years. And they're starting to look pretty rough. There are three primary reasons for this drought:

1. Lack of funds.

2. I honestly haven't really liked much of what I've seen made since then, except for things WAY out of my price range (I'm willing to spend up to a few hundred if it's something really nice, because obviously I use bags for-ev-er, but I'm not trying to shell out a ton of cash on something I can't live in, type on, or drive.)

3. Leather. Everything these days is made of leather, and being vegetarian, I do try not to walk around w/ half a cow hanging under my arm. Ideally, I'd prefer no leather, but a few bits and pieces doesn't bother me as much. The above bag has a tolerable amount - just the strap and bottom.

So now I have to convince myself not to buy it, at least not until I get my next monthly paycheck. I saw it on sale at Macy's yesterday. So this mght be hard. But I must be strong.

Anyone out there have any recommendations for decent handbags w/ little/no leather? Anyone out there think this is totally hideous and now questioning whether I can even dress myself in the mornings?

This post was really boring.

cravings, money i don't have
