I’ve done it. Close to, at least. I’ve found the exact strands of DNA, the genetic sequences that need to be taken out or redone or replaced-whatever I want. I can mix them with the DNA of separate creatures, and it’s working. It’s beautiful, alchemy-joining things together and making something new and better. It’s still tricky work, as humans are more complex than I could ever have dreamed. Botch even one nucleotide and I end up with a genetic defect, rendering a test subject completely useless unless I can rectify the mistake. It’s still going well.
Nearly all subjects continue to live after their initial alterations, but these are still flawed. Most subjects are becoming more beast than man, and while the research is worthwhile, I have yet to hit my initial goal. I need a balance, and I’ll keep working for one.
The beasts or demons-whatever one wishes to call them-I’ve been bringing into this world from the Kingdom have proved perfect for DNA harvesting. The creatures show enough genetic similarities to humans that combining the two continues to get easier.
Subjects C-29, G-15, and S-02 are holding up particularly well, and I’m keeping special tabs on them. They are adapti nd have remained hearty and mo all tests and procedu o date.
Below, outline a l ose schedule for each three subjects men oned, along with a copy of eir origi al and altered enetic sequences.
