End of an era

Originally, this account was created to "Report" as a journalist in the City of Heroes on things happening in the game. Well, this reporter has just heard that the City of Heroes world is coming to an end.
The official announcement on their website indicates that it will close "...before the end of the year.", and other sites are reporting that the final date will be "...by November 30". What is more, the parent company, NCSoft, has announced that they are closing Paragon Studios, the developers of City of Heroes. This makes it extremely unlikely that this is just a way to prepare for a City of Heroes 2.
Clark Parker, and a host of his alter egos, will deeply miss this game, and the fine team that developed and supported it.
Clark will live on, but it appears that he will never be the reporter he was intended to be.
