*Some over-due sports news!*
Well, well. Ever since baseball season came to a close a few months ago, I've stopped talking sports almost entirely around here. I figure that it's now time for a change with that. I suppose, for the next few months, I'll be talking ice hockey (And YES, it's still on, Kevin! lol) with you all since that is the other sport I've found a love for. So tonight's subject will circle around me looking for another goalie to adopt!!
Ever since the ever-famous, Colorado goalie, Patrick Roy, retired in 2003, I've been looking to adopt another one to fill his place as my "favorite" of the now. No such luck as of yet. Roy still stands as my favorite goalie 3 years later even though he doesn't play anymore. What can I do, though?! He's still holding the torch for me as "the best"!! No one has taken him yet in my eyes.
I have been looking to possibly adopt the New Jersey goalie, Martin Brodeur, as my stand-by of the now, but he lost tonight. I do still have my eye on him, but haven't claimed him just yet. He has more to prove to me thus far. ;)
So I am still officially looking to adopt a goalie in the games to come. Roy will always be my boy, but I do want to find somebody that is still out there and playing the game!
And there is my sports news of the late and as of now....
