*My weekend update stolen from my myspace*

This has been a pretty eventful weekend for me, as most weekends have been lately..full of events. I have to say, though, that the events that are making the weekend eventful have been events that I've enjoyed, so I enjoyed the eventfulness of the events of the eventful weekends. (Have you ever noticed that when you write a word over and over again in a sentence that the word suddenly starts to not make any sense anymore? Yeah, try it sometime.) So now I shall tell you of the events of my eventful weekend of eventfulness. (haha, I'm having too much fun with this.)

Saturday was a really good time as we had Tim and his family out for the evening with us. The mood was set rather quickly when my Uncle Ron and Tim's dad got out their guitars and did some playing together. I was hoping to hear them soon, so that was a nice treat. My Uncle Ron did most of the fills and solos while Tim's dad did the core rhythm section of the songs. They seemed to compliment each other musically quite well. :)

After the mellow live concert set before us, we had a meal of pizza, which I didn't join in with since I had an immediate crash meal prepared for me earlier while shopping. It's probably better because I might have gotten into a war with Danielle over the breadsticks anyway! lol. Even though I think she would've won the war, it's still not polite to fight with your company, especially your boyfriend's younger sister! ;) Afterwards, we played a few card games that I've never played in my life, so it was quite interesting. Danielle had some profound victories over me with those, and we later switched to the game of Sorry. Stories and puns of all sorts were told by us, so the game lasted a whole lot longer than it originally would've...I don't think I've laughed like that in a bit. lol. Uncle Ron is such a dork. ;) Case closed. I got my revenge on everybody in the game of Sorry, though. Even after trying to give people some friendly breaks, I still won the game. Hey, I guess you can't hide the true nature of a winner no matter what you do. ;) haha.

So Saturday = Good times.

Sunday = Good times as well.

Uncle Ron and I went over to a friend's (Bill) house to play music. We've worked with him in a celtic band in the past, but since the band kind of fizzled out, we hadn't seen him in awhile. It was great to have that time again, as I really like he and his wife. Bill was really excited because he found a violin player who told him that he was good: I can improvise, songwrite, and play 3 different instruments! So naturally, Bill was excited to find him and invited him to jam with us. Well, the guy was....AWFUL! He'd solo while you were soloing, he squeaked something awful, he didn't know any songs, and so on. On top of everything, he was quite rude, not attempting to friend us in the least. He kind of looked at me funny when I walked in, I'm guessing since I'm a girl and that I'm young. It frankly angered me, as I'm sorry to say but: I'm better at my instrument than you are at yours!! Overall, Uncle Ron and I were thinking "oh, no" with this guy.

Bill seemed to like him while he was playing, though. When the violinist would actually hit a correct note, which wasn't often, Bill would cheer him on and smile. I absolutely thought he loved his playing, but after the guy left, Bill about made Uncle Ron and I die of laughter. He was like: Well, he sure is Hell isn't as good as he said he was!" I started laughing, Uncle Ron started laughing, Bill's wife, Anne, started laughing, and even Bill started laughing. It was just so hilarious. So after the guy left, Bill and his wife invited us to stay and have dinner with them. So we had a laid back meal with great conversation in a wonderful setting.

So yes, this weekend was a fun one with good company, some good music, some "interesting" music, a lot of laughing, and a lot of excellent feelings and memories...
