I was talking to iceyrica about BBB, and it occurred to me that I had no idea how many in-progress fics I currently have. Nor do I remember when I last did a fic status post, though my tags tell me it was in October? Geez.
Fic status, in order of when last worked on.
In progress:
3/4 vampire Panic: ~18,00016,000 words of planning/flailing
Something formerlydf and I have been flailing at each other over. We were hoping it would stay short, but after yesterday's brainstorming session, I no longer think that's going to happen? I blame my tendency to get carried away with elaborate backstory, but on the plus side, we seem to've created an entirely new vampire mythos? It's pretty awesome, and the fic(s) have potential to contain PLAGUE!! At long, long last.

d!atd: 20,440 words, +~300 words handwritten
I actually wrote on this on Friday! Soon, Tom's thing shall be revealed and I... will have to come up with another storyline for this fic. I'm tentatively thinking of having them compete in the Ankoku Bujutsukai? Only Jon is human and powerless. And Patrick would never okay Pete joining the team to compete, and even if he did there would only be four of them, and they'd need five, and I doubt they could get Ray, so maybe I'll have Ryan and Brendon try to break into the Reikai, only I have this feeling that I'd end up sort-of consciously biting off of a crossover WhiteCat was writing ages ago and never finished...

Not!fic being written with okubyo_kitsune. We're planning to change the tense, so we have to rework what's already been compiled. Also, we suddenly added another person to the main pairing about 2/3 of the way in, so now we have to go back and work him in from the beginning. Promises to be interesting, I suppose...

Companion story from Ryan's pov for The Persistence of Memory. I totally wrote on this the other day! I just have no idea if what I wrote matches up with what I have typed? Perhaps I should type the handwritten stuff and try to get it to mesh. Mm. Mesh. Officially, I have to keep writing this, as formerlydf and I have an agreement regarding it.

A.k.a., the dreamy AU. I really want to start this one over, and I love it to bits, but I need to figure out the plot first. Half of it pretty much evolves as I draw the pictures, and I don't often have anything in mind when I start on the drawings. Hm. (I totally wouldn't put this one so high on the list, except that I finished another picture for it recently, so...)

I need to work more Joe into this. So far, it's a lot of Patrick, with a sprinkling of Bob. Still. Awkward!teenage!Bob bonding with adorable little serious!kidlet!Patrick! There is going to be drumming! They will talk about Bob being psychic! Brian might even make an appearance if I feel like it! Omg, I have no idea what I'm going to do - this spans from when Patrick's one-year-old until something like... end of 2011. I refuse to let it be epic like TSH!!

At first, Jon and Spencer feared Jon's recently purchased house was haunted by Martha Stewart's British granny. Then Jon found the Ross. reishin's fault. I honestly shouldn't ever write this, but I have an entire introduction put together? If I could figure out how to write the rest into a cohesive not!fic, it would have more potential, no doubt.

Italian!grocery store fic: 2,410 words compiled
With tina_nocturne. The Europe AU in which Ryan Ross is a rising fashion designer who somehow ends up owning a grocery store in Italy! Tina and I are still busy with RL and other things, so this is kind of on-hold at the moment.

I'm also not going to be writing Urie, M.D. as a notfic with reishin. Such an idea would be preposterous, particularly considering the number of fics on my plate at the moment. Right.
