The Socceroos
It's hard to live in the UK and not become obsessed with soccer, considering the fact I already like the sport and watched it back home. Over here, I've been watching Arsenal whenever I could and of course getting psyched up for the world cup, (of which two of my house mates are at, at the moment) Last week I think I managed to be in a pub 5 out of 7 nights watching the evening game. Although the best one was the England vs Trinidad and Tobago game, in which we all finished work early and went down to the boardroom where there was beer and food and a the TV set up on the projector, of course we then kicked onto the pub afterwards!
Sunday I was so proud of our boys, they played really well against the reining world champs and now have to get either a win or a draw against Croatia to make it through to the second round - lets hope for a great game on Thursday night (and that Harry doesn’t get suspended for swearing at the ref!)
