various stuff
Well, I figured that I had been severely neglecting my jounals so I might as well put in a quick update here.
um...
my car is awaiting the TLC of my mechanics in a few short hours, since I dropped it off there around 8 this evening right after my brother left. I'm glad the weather has been so warm lately because tonight (in the 40's) was quite a lovely nite to be wandering around...I personally wouldn't have minded seeing an extra 20 degrees on the thermomater (eww bad spelling) while walking through town, but hell, I'm not complainingm it's not like it below zero and blizzarding out!!!
I"ve been working (sometimes more contemplation than actual artistic work) for the past few months on a rather odd drawing. There is a sitting man in the drawing and for the life of me I haven't been able to draw his legs in the right perspective so tonight Mark and I went to ALtoona and stopped at A C Moore so I could pick up a drawing (actually it's a sculpting) figure to try and finish up the basic stuff on the drawing and move past just trying to draw legs...yeah, I don't know why I can't get it either, it seems easy enough, right? Ah well, one of those things I guess.
My brother and I were joking that we should draw a face on the mannequin and dress it up like our mother, and then stick it various places in the house to scare her...heh... we were coming up with all kinds of great ideas of what to do with it th other nite at my dad's house...I think my idea of putting a grey wig and taping a butcher knife to it's hand and then hiding it inside the shower curtain (a la "Psycho") was the best though.
I've been working on doing an animation for a webpage that my mother is building/getting built for her 2nd job at East Carroll Township. Thanks to someone who I'm extrordinarily grateful to -and it's none of your business who- I got a copy of Photoshop since it wasn't installed on this stupid 2nd hand machine and dled a trial copy of Gif Animator and I"m actually making a lot of headway on it so far...I think tonight I'm going to finish up the individual screen shots (I have to put snow in- since its a plow truck pushing snow across the screen) and then re-DL Animator (since I think I screwed something up with the one that I've got on here) so I might actually be able to get it finished in very little time...like maybe this week or next whenever I manage to find the time I guess. Can't wait to see if I can actually figure out how to work the animation part of animator...um...that's still kind of iffy I suppose.
Oh, just a note,I turned my Angelfire blog private, so stay out of my fucking business...er..I mean ... yeah you can't access it if you try to.
I suppose that's all for now, and I"m not going to make my usual promise to try and update my blogs more often because I probably wont remember to, but I'm sure I'll put another update on here sometime before the beginning of summer, which isn't exactly comforting, I know, but it's the best I can do.
