I am babysitting
I keep waking up a lot at night. I think it's because I haven't been exercising (foot, then illness, then laziness). Because of my frequent wake-ups, my dreams and the people in them are revealed to me more oft than usual. I dream a lot of my sisters and I as children going places with my father, Lindsey, and Stephanie and I becoming friends again. Becoming friends again with those you've betrayed seems so easy in dreams. However, in real life, I have a fuck of a lot of work to do. I finally gathered my courage and called. I expected her voice to be a lot colder than it was.
Valentine's Day was really great. I spent the day/night with Jeremiah. We exchanged gifts, drank wine, and went to Wazubees. He told me some things that I was really happy, although very suprised to hear. He's really great and I feel lucky to have him. (I'm being disturbingly mushy, I know).
I went to a Channels/Nons show on Wednesday. Jesse played some sax, which made me really happy.
Kelly and Jeremiah met, but they exchanged only a few words, and then Kelly ended up leaving the show mucho early. He was tired. She hates hipsters. Whaddyagonnado?
I spoke to a drunken Natasha after hours of her snubbing it up while Jenny and David were exceedingly friendly to me. Speaking to her was probably a waste of my time. Anne Marie and I talked about starting a band together. I was so nervous that Angelia+Lindsey would show up at show (I had the fast heart beat, the sweats, the akward social behavior), but luckily they weren't. I found $20 on the ground at Media Club.
I spoke briefly to Lindsey at A&B Sound. He seemed cheery, yet purposely aloof. Lotus did not die from her stitch infections. She is alive and well.
I have decided to search for a shitty job in Langley that I can quit as soon as I make enough money to pay for a couple months of rent in Vancouver. I think I would like my friend, Billy to be my roommate. He has also expressed interest.
I traded my mixer for a violin. I'm awful at it. I think I may have to take a couple of lessons.
