Promises, Promises.
So in an attempt to keep myself focused and to keep writing, I decided perhaps it would be best for me to post a teaser of sorts of a one-off i'm doing. So here it is............
“Dom, are you sure this is alright? I mean are you sure no one will see us?” Matt timidly asked as the drummer pulled him inside quickly walking through the foyer of the skating arena with him.
“For the millionth time Matt, yes I’m sure. I booked the entire place for us alright!? No one is allowed in here but us. Now will you relax and enjoy our time together?” He asked impatiently as they made their way into one of the changing rooms to pull on the skates.
“Right..right. ‘M sorry.” He mumbled sitting down on the old wooden bench, as he looked at the skates. “I’ve just never done this.” He added. Dom caught onto Matt’s nerves. “Oh no need to be worried love.” He cooed softly making his way over. “You’ll be fine. I mean you’ve got me to teach you, what more could you ask for?” Dom teased, gently taking off the shoes and slipping on Matt's skates. In a few minutes he was all laced up and both were ready to hit the ice.
Stepping out first, Dom looked as Matt leaned up against one of the boards hesitant to join him. Taking this opportunity Dom decided to do a few laps around the rink before stopping where Matt was still standing “C’mon it’s not that bad I promise you.“ He reassured the brunette holding out a hand.
