(no subject)
So, for the first time in 2 years, I'm moving, so I'm looking through things I haven't seen in about that time. In a box with old photos I found a small old notebook that contains the following:
"If there were two words that defined Justin Timberlake at 16, they were 'self-confident' and 'horny.' That, combined with a crush that had been brewing since he was 14 and a half, meant that Joey -- high as his morals were -- didn't stand a chance."
--That was the opening of the EPIC Justin/Joey fic that Mere and I plotted out together over about 7,000 emails when I worked at the Most Boring Job Ever. We never wrote it and I don't have the emails anymore, but it's the best fic I never wrote. Around the same time I believe we did an extensive JC/original character fic. And a Britney Mary Sue. Man, it was fun when I didn't have to WORK at work...
The notebook also contains this snippet, which I have no recollection of ever having written and no idea what else was supposed to go with it:
"Lance squished in next to Chris and said, 'So, thanks a lot, Joey. My mom now thinks Chris and I are having big, gay sex.'
Chris whooped, 'yeah baby,' and made kissy noises in Lance's direction.
Joey raised his eyebrows and said, '*big* gay sex? Clearly your mom has never seen Chris.'"
yeah.
Man, fandom was fun.
