Yesterday was quite enjoyable, well other than class, but who likes that? This getting up at 5:30 if killing me. I cannot for the life of me, sleep through the night and it is driving me crazy. Last night during the thunderstorms, I kept waking up, which was probably a good thing, since the electricity went off twice and if I did not reset my alarm I would not get to class. At 4 AM I decided that if it didn’t slow down any I was going to have to skip class, I wasn’t about to drive into Dallas in a monsoon. Anyway. . .
After class, Sterns and I went to JD's Cajun Café for lunch (I think that was the name). It was actually pretty good and the company was great too.
Then I called Bandomer and we set off for an interesting adventure at the driving range. It was my first time but he said I did not do too badly. He says I am "quite stout with the 3 iron" I hit one 100 yards. I was proud. However, is it normal to be incredibly sore? My lower arms, back of my thighs, and my neck (though I think that is because I slept on it funny.)
I came home, took a shower, tried to nap (with no success) and ate some dinner. The rain started around 6:00 (and never stopped I might add). Chris came down from Mesquite, I meet him at SFA, he plays trombone, is in KKY, and is going to be section leader next semester. It was the first real date I have had in a while. He came in and introduced himself to my father and was quite patient when the dog attacked him. Since it was raining he held an umbrella for me as we walked to his car, where he opened the doors for me and everything. We went and saw The Notebook (which was wonderful) . . . stupid girls have to cry during sappy romances, it was kind of embarrassing, I didn’t think I would since I knew how it turned out since I had read the book . . . but nevertheless I had a great time! He walked me too the door when we got home, it was cute, it was obvious he was nervous, so I just gave him a hug and he was kind of fumbling over his words when saying goodnight. =D
I completed my Government class today. The final was so easy I do not know why I stayed up late to study when I did not need too. It was a group test and she was dumb enough to put the three smartest people in one group. I did my speech the other day, it went so much better than expected, I was quite proud of myself.
Pool party tomorrow night. Call my cell if you are interested. I am going to bed after this movie. I have had too much on my mind to sleep lately, and I know we will be up late tomorrow night. Tomorrow will consist of: 1) deposit a check at the bank 2) grocery store business 3) return some movies and library books 4) making country CDs for my friends 5) getting a pedicure!!!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot . . . I was called to Jurry Duty the other day. I was almost interested to go, too see a real court case you know, but we'll be gone to Florida during the trial, and I am a student so I get out of it, I'll have plenty of chances later on in my life . . . unless I work for the legislature . . . hmmm . . . nah =D
