Slow day today. Finished Grendel last night. Also Voyage of the Dawn Treader today.
I walked around the (former) cow path after going for a run, and it thoroughly depressed me. (The fact that my left contact was scratching my eye out didn't help the depression.) That reminds me of that quote hanging in Mr. Jordan's room - "I wonder why progress looks so much like destruction."
I am now reading The Languages of Middle-Earth, because I am just that nerdy/cool/bored. And it's awesome. What can you do with a major in linguistics? Talk to people?
