Oh, what a Friday. My stress level has gone down so much it's incredible. Turning in the papers for classes, getting my scholarship app in to my counselor, playing some good ultimate frisbee in the afternoon, practicing, and finally figuring out a group and making plans for Homecoming all made this day awesome. Not to mention the tasty dinner I had in the company of fun people.
What a great summary (not). I wish my descriptive writing skills were better. When I wrote my descriptive essay for English, it seemed really pretentious - definitely not my usual style. But then again, my writing style changes between when I'm writing for school and when I'm just writing a journal entry. Eh, writing.
So, yeah. Tomorrow is a marching band contest. To be honest, my ideal Saturday, September 24th would be like this:
-Wake up late
-Go for a good run
-Eat some cereal with a tall glass of orange juice
-Read a good book (such as Grendel, which I've yet to finish)
-Eat a peanut butter sandwich and some fruit for lunch outside in the gazent thing
-Make the poster for the SADD float (coloring is relaxing!) while listening to Vivaldi's Four Seasons
-Practice
-Do something with amigos in the evening
My idealism shines through once again. Maybe Sunday can be like that . . . Or it could be dedicated to finishing preliminary forms for college apps.
Ah, well. That Perfect Day will be realized . . . eventually.
perfect day,
hurrah!,
good times,
friends
