Rant from an Black Friday Surivor
Never again will I try to work Black Friday.
All the 9 hour shift I held in my anger, and now I am ready to explode. I mean seriously, do people have to be so MEAN to workers? We are, after all, working this busy day knowing wjat a pain in the ass it`s going to be.
Then the deals and coupons expiring. Don`t yell at the worker working the cash register and hoping sometime that the manager will remember that they were due for a break about an hour ago. She is just trying to do her job to the best of her ability but NO because your damn coupon expired it`s suddenly HER fault.
Messy messy slobs. Really? I know the lines are long, but put the items you don`t want anymore up by the cash register so the worker can put it away! Don`t store the 'flying shark balloon' where the party favors are. The worst was the half-eaten taco we found on the floor by the Game section. Thanks for that.
So, Never again will I even attempt to volunteer my time to another Black Friday.
