Remember those walls I built
Well, baby they're tumbling down
I sang, picking up two bags of bread.
'Bread' I crossed off the grocery list. Next was 'Eggs (2)'.
And they didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make up a sound
'Eggs' crossed off. Next was.....on the bottom of the sheet in Gabe`s messy handwriting. 'Candy'.
Of course, I giggled to myself, how he would include candy. Pushing the cart into the candy aisle, I picked up some Almond Joys, Peanut Butter Cups, and Peppermint Patties for me.
What did he like?

'Halo' by Beyonce playing on the radio softly in the background of the warm kitchen, I found the note my wonderful partner had left in his beautiful script. How perfect it looked with the white of the paper.
Man, I needed coffee.
I found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Dear Willy. How that beautiful boy could go through heck with his 'Master' and still be the sweetie that he is. I thought to myself as I read his note.

Went grocery shopping in town. I hope to be back around 2ish, so please do the dishes and make sure NO glasses get broken this time.

I got my angel now
He indeed was my angel. My, and Fueled by Ramen`s, angel that brought sun and warmth to our lives. Through his struggles, he still suprised me by his strength and willpower.
How through those he accomplished so much.
Well, let`s see....How proud I was of his achievements.
1. He conquered going out in public ALONE
That took serval weeks to do. He was always afraid that 'Master' would pop out of a corner and grab him.
2. Since he was 18, he was allowed to take a 3 hour Driver`s test, along with a simple road test, and get his driver license. This allowed him to be on his own.
Did I mention how proud I was of him being on his own? I mean, sure, he loved my company, but now he didn`t need me to drive him everywhere. He was allowed to be free on his own, explore the town on his own while I was slaving in the recording studio with Cobra.
3. He was social
Before, I had to talk to the person before he added his own input into the conversation. Now, he was talking to people on his own. He was holding conversations with strangers and was no longer afraid that they would slap or hurt him.

It's like I've been awakened

"Indeed every rule YOU broke, slave." came a dark whisper in my ear. The air became cold, I stopped breathing. No, I was fine, I was fine. Take a deep breath, Bilvy....
It's the risk that I'm takin'
I sang proudly, turning to my left as I expected no one to be there. I was wrong.
"What did you JUST say?" he spoke again, edging closer to me.
"I-I-I" I tried, backing away. I had to get away. I couldn`t go back. I COULDN`T...
"Stupid boy, thinking you got away!" he said as he grasped my arm, pulling me closer.
I flinched.
"You`ll always be mine. Didn`t we already have this lesson?"
He throws me against the shelf, then wheels me back to hit the other. I keep my eyes closed, I keep silent.
I ain't never gonna shut you out
"Do you hear me, William?" he says as he slams me into the cold floor. My arms and stomach hurt with each breath I take.
"Do ya?" he says again as he kicks me in the stomach. I try to curl into myself...
"STUPID!" he kicks over and over, hitting my face as he does. My eyes begin to water.
I keep getting punched.

The open paper on the table.
The missing keys on the key rack.
The picture I stare at sitting on the kitchen counter, a picture you love. Me and You hugging on the couch, perfectly cotent in each other`s arms.
Will`s Pov
A kick in the head has me seeing stars. That cannot be Gabe, Gabe standing in the warm light with his wonderful smile.
Another blow, another kick.
He looks like an angel.

"Hi, this Carolina from New Jersey East Hospital..."
"Hospital?"
"Yes, sir. You are the emergency contact for a...William Beckett?"

"Y-Yes, I am, but he`s not..."
"I`m sorry, sir, but he was emitted a few minutes ago."
"Why?"
"He was attacked at the grocery store."

"Sir, could you please come to the hospital? He keeps asking for you."
"Of course." I say as I hang up. Suddenly, I see the kitchen as a cold dungeon. No longer warm with the radio soft in the background. I grab my keys and jacket, leaving Puro barking in the house as I lock the door and run to the car.
"Gabe, Gabe what`s wrong?" Ruth asks, running to my side. She is dressed in her gardening outfit-her husband`s old shirt, leggings with her tennis shoes. Hair in a bun.
"Will, he`s in the hospital." I gasp, my hands trembling. The keys jingle in my hands.
Hit me like a ray of sun
Burning through my darkest night
"I`ll drive." Ruth declares as she grabs my keys and directs me to the passenger side. I hurridly get in, eager to get to my Will. I need to get Will.
Will`s Pov
"Is he coming?" I whisper to the nurse, the kind nurse clutching my hand in comfort.
"Yes, honey, he`s on his way." she smoothes, running her warm hand over mine.

My back hurts.

"How is he?" I say to the doctor, who is perched outside Will`s room.

"He could be better. He has a fratured rib, a black eye, and many sores on his body. That`s the good news."

"The bad news is he was attacked. Attacked by...according to his file, his 'Master'?"
My heart stops beating. No, no, not his master.

"Yes. He was attacked by his master. He won`t let anyone see him, expect his nurse. That itself took a lot of convincing."
"Only me?" I say.

Without anymore words, I push open the hospital door. I leave the heart-broken Ruth and the caring doctor in another world, as I enter this.
My wonderful Bilvy, grasping to the nurse`s hand like a lifeline. He has tears on his face, hurt all over his features.
"Bilvy!" I cry as I run to him. Closer, he looks worse.

"We`re fine." Gabe says, leading the broken Will to the door. "I`ll call you tommorrow."
