I am not very happy with my state senator right now. He is one of the co-sponsors for a marriage amendment to our state constitution. If this passes both the house and senate (which it will) the decision will go to the voters to decide on. I am very against this vote, because I feel it gives the mob majority the power over the minority. I decided to email him and my state congresswoman both saying I am against the vote. I just got an answer back from my senator. All he really had to say is that MN isn't a mob majority, and that he hopes the public will vote yes on this. The then said we don't see eye to eye, and thank you for your input. He obviously didn't care what I thought, so now I don't know if I will call or email in again. The parties are so divided right now I don't know that it will ever do any good. I am now waiting to see what my congresswoman has to say. I expect it to be very similar to what my senator said.
