I love that Clark Kent’s belief in the goodness of others is the one to redeem Clark Luthor. That right there is the heart of this show: The effect and influence Clark Kent has is transformative.

And did anyone catch the irony of not giving Fate a choice? I didn't until you pointed it out, but that's kind of hilarious.
And that convo between Fate and Castiel was all kinds of win. I don’t usually think of SPN as having subtext, but there was a lot of it in the episode.
